To be eligible to apply candidates must be a solicitor or barrister with at least seven years post qualification experience (PQE), a Recorder or someone who has held a full-time judicial appointment for at least three years in one of the offices listed in Part 1A of Schedule 2 of the Courts Act 1971. The JAC also welcomes applications from tribunal judges with the relevant PQE.
